Swavesey junior School ceremony

 

On 13.4.2000., the time capsule, donated by Harsco (USA), and made near Mobile (Alabama) by W.Nicky deLlacer and Jeff W. Broadus, was taken to the school for the children to put in their books.       The whole school assembled in the hall. David Hugill, the organiser of the event, explained about the burial of their class books in the time capsule along with Anthony Osmond-Evans' photographic record - 'Britain, the Book of the Millennium' which was already inside.
