| The Line was initially based on the Greenwich Observatory. With the latest technology the International Meridian Line is an artifact of satellites and other finely measured calculations. The poor relation - The Greenwich Meridian - being earth bound moves with continental drift. However, the meridians, provide an interesting highway to travel and meet up with many fascinating places and people. | Line Publishing staff are focussed on creating electronic books. Initially our ebooks will be concerned with people and places along a corridor on the Meridian Line. Gradually - and with new authors contributing - we will expand into other areas. |
To keep in touch with our interest group, our emailed newsletter is published every month - a page or so of script and three to four pictures. It explores items of interest loosely connected with the Meridian Line. Since the Newsletter started in 2000 we have several hundred regular correspondents.
